St. Patrick's Day Quest for Gold at Meadowside Nature Center. Rockville, MD - Friday, March 14. Follow the rainbow down Meadowside Nature Center's trails as you celebrate an early St. Patricks’ Day. The St. Patrick’s Parade Committee of the Irish American Club of Washington, D.C. plans on gathering on the National Mall and marching to F St NW, followed by an afternoon of festivities. The Committee, along with other groups, dance schools, bands, etc. will start assembling at 11:00 AM at the Peace Monument and at 12:00 PM, walking towards Throw on your best green clothes and raise a pint as St. Patrick’s Day celebrations take over the D.C. region this weekend. For Jameson and Guinness specials, themed cocktails and Make some fun memories at this St. Paddy’s weekend bar crawl. The two-day U Street bar hop takes you to ten local eateries and lounges where you can find cheap drinks and discounted snacks. The stroll begins at Sudhouse DC and continues on to The Alchemist, El Rey, Chicken + Whiskey, and more pubs ($20+) .
